SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the client (“Client”) and Torrey Pines Travel (“Service Provider”), collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

1. RATES

1.1 All rates are subject to change at the discretion of the Service Provider. The current rates as posted on the Service Provider’s website shall apply at the time of booking.

2. SERVICE FEE

2.1 A service charge of 20% will be added to the final rate, which includes a 15% chauffeur gratuity and a 5% administrative fee.

3. WAIT TIME

3.1 Airport Transfer: There is no wait time charge for transfers from the airport, as flight arrivals are monitored.

3.2 Non-Airport Transfer: A 10-minute grace period is provided for all non-airport pickups. Beyond this, wait time is charged at $10.00 per 10-minute increment for the first 20 minutes, and thereafter at the hourly rate of the vehicle reserved.

4. STOPS

4.1 All stops must be pre-arranged and approved in advance. A fee of $20.00 is charged per en-route stop, with additional fees for non-en-route stops.

5. AFTER HOURS PICK-UPS

5.1 A surcharge of $15.00 applies for late-night pick-ups (excluding airport) between 11:45 PM and 3:45 AM.

6. RESERVATION MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

6.1 Modifications: Changes to reservations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If a change cannot be accommodated, the reservation will be canceled and subject to a full charge.

6.2 Cancellations: Cancellation policies vary by vehicle type and reservation location. Failure to cancel within the specified time frame will result in a charge of the total charter. A “No Show” charge equals the total amount of the reservation.

7. CONDUCT OF PASSENGERS

7.1 The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse transportation to persons under the influence or who are objectionable to other passengers. Misconduct may result in termination of the charter without refund. Smoking and drug use are prohibited. Fines incurred by the Client or their party will be charged to the Client’s credit card.

8. VEHICLE DAMAGE/CLEANING

8.1 The Client is responsible for any damage or cleaning costs resulting from the conduct of their party. Charges for repairs or cleaning will be applied as specified.

9. LIABILITY

9.1 The Service Provider is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond its control. In case of a mechanical breakdown, lost time will be made up at a mutually agreed date and time. The Service Provider bears no financial liability for delays.

10. COVID-19 VEHICLE POLICY

10.1 In light of the pandemic, specific capacity limits, face mask requirements, vehicle disinfection protocols, and other safety measures are in place.

11. LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

11.1 The Service Provider is not responsible for lost or damaged items left in the vehicles. Efforts will be made to locate lost property, but return of found items may incur a charge.

12. BUSINESS PARTNER SERVICE POLICY

12.1 Business partners and affiliates are required to adhere to the terms of this Agreement and represent Torrey Pines Travel in a professional manner.

13. PRIVACY NOTICE

13.1 Torrey Pines Travel reserves the right to use the information collected through this website as deemed fit. The security of your information is a priority, and measures are in place to protect it both online and offline.

14. PAYMENT POLICY

14.1 Full payment is charged at the time of booking. The Client authorizes this charge by providing credit card information.

15. REFUND POLICY

15.1 Refunds, when applicable, will be issued as a line of credit for future services, valid for one year from the date of issuance. No cash or credit card refunds will be provided.

By booking a reservation with Torrey Pines Travel, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
